LEGO’s Doctor Strange Supreme Sanctum Brings Marvel’s Zombie Multiverse to the Mini-Modular Collection

LEGO’s latest Sanctum Sanctorum puts a darker corner of Marvel’s multiverse on display. The 814-piece LEGO Marvel ‘What If…?’ Doctor Strange Supreme set reimagines Doctor Strange’s Greenwich Village home as a three-floor hideout overrun by zombies, bringing the animated series’ undead story into LEGO’s Marvel mini-modular collection.

Set number 67005 costs $99.99, £89.99 or €99.99. It goes on sale January 1, 2027, and pre-orders are available through LEGO.com. For collectors who missed earlier versions of the townhouse, this offers a smaller, less expensive entry point, with a distinct theme and a lineup built around the multiverse story.

A familiar building, reshaped by the multiverse

The Sanctum has been a recurring LEGO Marvel subject. Past releases include 2018’s Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown and a much larger 2022 model with 2,708 pieces. That adult-focused set retailed for $249.99, included scenes from Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and has since retired. The original account says it now sells for considerably more on the secondhand market.

The new model takes a different approach to the same address. Instead of a broad display of the Sanctum as it appears in the main Marvel stories, it draws on the zombie storyline in What If…? and the separate Marvel Zombies series. Its three decaying floors make the building part of the action, while the compact footprint adds it to LEGO’s growing run of Marvel modular street builds.

At $99.99, the set is about $150 cheaper than the 2022 version and contains less than a third as many pieces. That comparison sets expectations: this is a smaller build, pitched for younger builders as well as collectors who want a themed display model without the scale of the earlier release. The design’s appeal will likely depend on how much a buyer values its unusual zombie setting and six character figures.

Six figures and story details

Strange Supreme leads the six-minifigure lineup. The character appears across the first two seasons of What If…? and gives the set its central connection to the animated series. He’s joined by Zombie Hunter Spider-Man, F.R.I.D.A.Y. with a teddy bear head, and Wanda Maximoff as the zombified Red Queen. Zombie Namor and Zombie Thor complete the group.

The official lineup differs from earlier rumors, which had suggested Zombie Iron Man would be included. F.R.I.D.A.Y. takes that spot instead, bringing a more unexpected figure to a collection otherwise centered on familiar heroes in zombified or alternate forms.

Several accessories point directly to the series’ story. Builders get removable portals to other dimensions, the Book of Cagliostro and the Book of Vishanti, along with a syringe used to develop a zombie cure. There’s also a small nod to Throg, shown in his regular frog form. The figures come with additional gear, including a spiderweb, chaos magic effects, a spear and a zombified Stormbreaker.

The model stands more than 11.5 inches tall and is intended for builders ages 9 and up. LEGO is also presenting it as a display option for teens and adults who follow the series. That mix of play features, recognizable objects and character accessories gives the smaller building a clear purpose beyond simply recreating the Sanctum’s exterior.

Where it fits for collectors

Fan reactions have focused on the price and the size of the building. Some have joked that the set looks like half a Sanctum at full price; others have welcomed the zombie concept and its multiverse details. Those reactions point to the choice facing buyers: the 814-piece model trades the scale of the 2022 release for a lower price and a more specific story hook.

The set was rumored in June under the name Strange Supreme Sanctum, which left some fans wondering why LEGO would revisit What If…? after the series wrapped up in 2024. The reveal clarifies the connection through both the character selection and the zombie theme, which also ties the model to Marvel Zombies.

The release adds to a busy stretch for LEGO Marvel, following the recent arrival of the Avengers: Doomsday New Avengers Tower set. For Sanctum collectors, the new build’s strongest distinction is its transformation of a well-known Marvel home into a compact, story-driven zombie scene. It arrives in stores and online January 1, 2027, giving fans a fresh version to weigh against the larger retired models.
