Bridgerton Fireplace Leaves Netflix in November, While the Series Stays

The Bridgerton world will still be on Netflix after its holiday fireplace disappears. The title scheduled to leave the US service on November 30 is Bridgerton: Fireplace, a 60-minute ambient video set in the family’s drawing room. November 29 is its last full day to watch, though the removal date could change.

That distinction matters for viewers who saw the departure described as a possible removal of Bridgerton itself. The main series isn’t leaving: Netflix owns Bridgerton and its spin-off Queen Charlotte, and both are expected to stay on the service. The departing title is a seasonal extra, not an episode or a change to the show’s availability.

A holiday extra with a modest hit record

Netflix added Bridgerton: Fireplace in December 2024 as one of three themed, hour-long yule logs. The other versions were tied to Squid Game and Spellbound. Bridgerton’s takes viewers into the family living room, where a crackling fire plays beneath soft music from the series.

There are small details for attentive fans to spot, including Lady Whistledown’s quill and a bouquet of wisteria. The setting makes the video an easy way to bring a piece of the Ton into a holiday gathering, or simply add the show’s music and familiar rooms to a quiet evening. Its appeal is deliberately simple: a warm visual, a recognizable setting and no new story to follow.

By the audience figures tracked by What’s on Netflix, the title has accumulated 2.1 million views and 2.1 million hours viewed since the second half of 2024. That puts it in a tie for eighth among the 18 fireplace titles the outlet tracked. For an ambient video, those totals suggest the franchise’s setting has made the extra appealing beyond the show’s regular episodes.

It drew 700,000 views in the first half of 2026, the third-highest total for that period. That was more than twice the figure for The Witcher: Fireplace, a comparison the outlet linked to the arrival of Bridgerton Season 4. The category leader remains the general-purpose Fireplace for Your Home: Crackling Birchwood Fireplace, with more than 30 million views.

Why the removal date has raised questions

Netflix hasn’t explained why the fireplace is leaving, and the timing comes just as the holiday season begins. Entertainment Now has suggested the service may be preparing a replacement with Easter eggs from Seasons 3 and 4, but that possibility hasn’t been confirmed. Other franchise-themed fireplaces—including versions for KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things and Wednesday—were added last December and described as permanent.

A replacement would make sense as a way to refresh a seasonal extra, especially after another year of the series bringing viewers back to its world. But for now, that remains speculation. The current video’s scheduled departure is the only confirmed change described in the reporting, so viewers shouldn’t take the date as evidence that the main show or its spin-off are going anywhere.

The fire’s farewell also lands while the franchise has more substantial installments ahead. The show has released four seasons, with Season 4 Part 1 arriving in January and Part 2 in February. Nicola Coughlan, Luke Thompson and Florence Hunt are among the cast. Season 5 has wrapped filming ahead of an expected 2027 release, though it has no release date yet; Thompson has also said production isn’t fully finished. Netflix has renewed the series for a sixth season, while possible seasons seven and eight remain a question for fans considering how Julia Quinn’s books might be adapted.

Although it would seem even Mr. Bridgerton cannot resist the temptation of today’s games, it is time to direct your attention to more…civilized matters. The trailer for Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 is here. https://t.co/vExZ2UmBTF

For fans who use the fireplace as holiday background, the practical takeaway is straightforward: there’s still time to put it on before the scheduled November 30 removal. After that, the familiar rooms and music will remain part of the series itself, while viewers wait for the next season and any word on a replacement ambient video.
